"The British Council in Brazil is looking for a qualified and motivated professional to lead on English for Brazil.
The purpose of the job is to identify, pursue and negotiate financial and risk-sharing partnerships with a range of partners (companies, government agencies, other non-governmental organisations and high net worth individuals) to expand the reach and impact of the British Council in Brazil. To build and maintain relationships with sector stakeholders to ensure influence with partners in English nationally and facilitate large-scale partnerships and project development.

This is a locally-engaged post. Candidates must have the right to work in Brazil. The British Council is not able to support or sponsor work visa applications from non-Brazilians.
English language qualification equivalent to IELTS 8 or higher is essential. Candidates must also have the ability to operate in Portuguese (both written and spoken) at a business level. Non-native speakers may be required to take a Portuguese language test.
